Owner & Senior Mortgage Professional

As founder of Thomas & Co., Graham has been working in the industry since 2005. He previously owned a company called Easy 2 Mortgage. Sadly, due to the 2008 economic crisis, Graham found it wasn’t so easy to offer mortgages anymore. So, he rebranded into Thomas & Co.

When Graham was 24, he went to California with $400 in his back pocket and a suitcase. He didn’t know anyone when he arrived but returned 10 years later as a well-educated man. Before Thomas & Co., Graham ran various businesses, and successfully grew one from £60,000 to £180,000 turnover within 3 years. Graham’s motto is “Always Better Yourself” and “Do More to Achieve More”. Outside of work, he enjoys skeet shooting, socialising with family, going to the cinema and visiting historical homes.

Julie Roberts
Office Manager

Julie has been with Thomas & Co. since 2011 and has enjoyed a varied career. Julie worked in the offices of Walker & Hall/Goldsmiths Jewellers, dealing with jewellery and diamonds on a daily basis. She’s also worked for Midland Bank in the Lost and Found department helping people in distress, for Comet, and then within insurance roles. Julie enjoys working with her team and her very varied role; dealing with customers, solicitors and lenders ensures every day is different. She also likes the compliance aspect; making sure everything is in place as per FCA requirements. Outside of work, Julie enjoys going to the gym, Pilates and socialising; she’s part of a group called Fabulous Females. She also enjoys going to live events, which involve singing and dancing. She loves music and having fun, which has been an important lifeline after losing her husband and has helped her bring up her three children.

Nilay Joshi
Mortgage Adviser

Nilay is currently training to be an Independent Financial Advisor

Nilay joined the business in 2019 and has previously worked in various financial services roles since 2007. Nilay started his career working for NatWest, where he gained experience working in sales, business portfolio management, and then as a branch-based Mortgage Advisor. Before joining Thomas & Co, he worked as a self-employed Mortgage Advisor. Nilay enjoys interacting with his clients and the sense of reward gained from helping someone to buy their first home or even their dream home. Outside of work, Nilay likes to keep his mind and body active, which includes running and boxing. After eating meat and dairy for 35 years, he switched to a healthy plant-based diet in 2019 and now enjoys a great vegan lifestyle. As a father, he also has two young boys who keep him busy.

Cameron joined Thomas & Co in 2022, having worked in the industry since 2016 for one of the largest wealth management companies in the UK. Cameron is responsible for ensuring our customers receive the right mortgage and protection advice. He believes strongly in the importance of creating and maintaining positive, long-lasting client relationships. Cameron enjoys meeting new people and helping them to secure the most suitable mortgage deal for their needs. Outside of work, Cameron likes going to the gym, playing football and golf, and he follows Leicester City. Cameron also loves to travel, having visited 16 countries, and his favourite place to date is Krakow in Poland.
